PUBLIC MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT

Title:

Advanced Reactor Stakeholder Meeting on Form and Content of an Application for Non-Light Water Reactors and Discussion of Draft Report on Molten Salt-Fueled Reactor Fuel Qualification Methodology Date(s) and Time(s): April 22, 2020, 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM Location: Teleconference Category: This is a Category 2 meeting. The public is invited to participate in this meeting by discussing regulatory issues with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) at designated points identified on the agenda.

Purpose:

The purpose of the meeting is for the NRC to discuss with the nuclear industry and other stakeholders issues associated with the development of application guidance for non-light water reactors that is technology inclusive, risk-informed and performance based. A second purpose of the meeting is to discuss the draft Oak Ridge National Lab (ORNL) report on Molten Salt-Fueled Reactor (MSFR) Fuel Qualification Methodology
