In a letter dated August 7, 1992 you requested an extension of the public comment period for the proposed rule " List of Approved Spent Fuel Storage Casks: Additions" (57 FR 28645). As explained in the enclosed Federal Register Notice, the NRC has reopened the comment period for an additional 30 days to provide an opportunity for public comment on additional information which has been placed in the public document rooms.
