Enclosed is an application (XCOM1339), dated December 27, 2021, received by the U.S.

Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), from Materion Brush Inc., for the export of components that will be used in the SCK CEN BR2 research reactor for research purposes and for the production of medical isotopes.

I understand that the Executive Branch has accepted the generic assurances provided for similar exports of components to Belgium. The NRC intends to issue the license after the 30-day review period on the basis of these generic assurances.
