t In your March 20, 1985 letter to Chairman Palladino, you expressed concern that the three Office of Investigation's cases regarding the Wolf Creek Generating Station that remain open could affect the current assessment of safety of Wolf Creek unless they were fully investigated and resolved prior to the granting of a full power operating license.

You also stated that you assumed that 01 staff could be redirected to Wolf Creek to complete these investigations without causing any delay in the licensing process.

I have been informed by the Director. 01 that he has been able to assign resources to these cases, and each case is under investigation. He further advised that every attempt will be made to resolve these issues 7 g prior to full power licensing--tentatively scheduled for mid-May i 1985. He has also assured me that, as in the past, he will keep my s'taff fully and currently informed of the progress of these as well as any other Wolf , Creek cases that may arise in the future.
