Dear Mr. Moore:
Thank you for your letter of August 29, 1989, inviting the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to participate in the interagency effort to develop a National Energy Strategy.
I have designated Mr. Harold R. Denton, Director Office of Governmental and Public Affairs, to represent the NRC.
Mr. Denton is prepared to attend the Economic Policy Council Working Group's first meeting, which I understand is scheduled for October 11, 1989. Mr. Denton can be reached by telephone at 492-1780.
