Pccific , Model MC-1, moisture density gauge and the licensee's truck wOro stolen from a construction site located in Atlanta, GA at 11:20 a.m., on April 4, 1998. The truck was recovered on April 6, 1998, but {

the gauge and other contents of the truck were missing. '

Tha device contains 10 millicuries of cesium-137 and 50 millicuries of amtricium-241. The licensee's field coordinator reported to the State that the vehicle keys were taken, but that the device keys are never kept with the vehicle keys.

Local authorities have the incident under investigation. The State is working with the licensee in preparing a press release.
