,- - Page 2 of 2 This modification is issued to establish a minimum and a maximum contract amount and to provide funds in the amount of $152,175.00, equal to the contract minimum. Therefore, the contract is hereby modified as follows:

1. Section B, Supplies or Services and Prices / Costs, Subsection B.2, Consideration and Obligation--Task Orders, is revised to read as follows:

"B.2 CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATION--TASK ORDERS (MAR 1987)

a. The total estimated amount of this contract (ceiling) for the products / services ordered, delivered, and accepted under this contract is $627,190.00. The Contracting Officer may unilaterally increase this amount as necessary for completion of orders placed with the contractor during the contract period provided such orders are within any maximum ordering limitation prescribed under this contract.

b. The amount presently obligated with respect to this contract is $152,175.00. This obligated amount represents the designated minimum amount of the contract (see Clause I.8). The Contracting Officer shall issue orders for work up to the minimum amount stated.

Individual task orders shall state whether funds for that effort are being obligated on the task order or have been previously obligated on the contract.

c. A total estimated cost and fee, if any, will be negotiated for each task order and will be incorporated as a ceiling in the resultant task order. The contractor shall comply with the provisions of 52.232-20, Limitation of Cost for Fully Funded Task Orders, and 52.232-22, limitation of Funds for Incrementally Funded Task Orders, issued hereunder.

2. New Clause 1.8, Minimum and Maximum Contract Amounts, is added as follows:

" MINIMUM AND HAXIMUM CONTRACT AMOUNTS

a. During the period of performance of this contract, the Government will place orders totaling a minimum of $152,175.00. Total orders placed during the two year period will not exceed $627,190.00.

The Government may re-negotiate the maximum and minimum contract amounts on an annual basis.

b. Notwithstanding Paragraph a., above, the contractor shall honor any order exceeding the maximum order limitations in Paragraph (

a. , above, unless that order (s) is returned to the ordering office within ten (10) days af ter issuance, with written notice stating the contractor's intent not to accept the order and the reasons. Upon receiving this notice, the Government may acquire the supplies or services from another source."

All other terms and conditions, including the ceiling amount of

$627,190.00, remain unchanged.
