SUBJECT: NRC INTEGRATED INSPECTION REPORT 50-321/98-02, 50-366/98-02

Dear Mr. Sumner:
On May 2,1998, the NRC completed an inspection at your Hatch facility. The
enclosed report presents the results of that inspection.
l During the six-week period covered by this inspection report. your conduct of
activities at the Hatch facility was generally characterized by safety-
conscious operations, sound engineering and maintenance practices, and careful
radiological work controls.
The enclosed Inspection Report identifies activities that violated NRC
requirements that will not be subject to enforcement action because the
-licensee's efforts in correcting the violations meet the criteria specified in
l NUREG - 1600, Enforcement Policy.
l- In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice " a copy of
this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
