2. The " TOTAL ESTIMATED AMOUNT" under Section B.1 is revised to read:

3. Section B.2 - Consideration and Obligation is modified to read:

"B.3 Consideration and Oblication"

4. Section B.2 - Description of Work, as shown en attached Standard Form 36, 7

is hereby incorporated in its entirety.

5. Under Section B.3 - Consideration and Obligation, sentence one of paragraph a. is revised to read as follows:

"The total estimated amount of this contract (ceiling) for the products / services ordered, delivered, and accepted under this contract is

$68,879.00."

6. Under Section B.3 - Consideration and Obligation, sentence one of paragraph b. is revised to read as follows:

"The amount presently obligated with respect to this contract is

. $54,640.00."
7. Section F.1 - Duration of Contract Period is revised to read as follows:

. "F.1 Duration of Contract Period This contract shall commence on October 1,1986 and end on september 30, 1988 with one twelve-month option period."

8. The following clause is hereby incorporated as Section H.3 of' the contract.

"H.3 Option to Extend the Period of Performance l

This contract may be extended for one additional twelve month period at i the option of the Government by the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer will aive preliminary written notice of an intent to exercise such option ninety (90) days prior to the last day of the period of performance (such preliminary notice shall not be construed as an exercise of the option) and will not bind the Government to exercise the option. This notice will include the Government's estimate regarding the amount of effort required for performance under the option period. Any revision or additions to the Statement of Work will also be included in the notice.

Contractor shall submit to the Contracting Officer, within thirty (30) days a cost estimate for the proposed extended period of performance.

This cost estimate shall be prepared in the identical format as the original cost proposal.

If the Government exercises the option, the total duration of this contract, including the exercise of the option, shall not exceed thirty-six months."
