' As you are aware, the U.S; Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff completed
'its review of the final Remedial Action Plan (RAP) and all associated documents pertinent to.the remedial.. action for the uranium mill tailings site at Riverton, Wyoming and issued a. conditional concurrence on October 15, 1987. In addition, the NRC has reviewed and concurred with Modification No. I to the Riverton RAP on-January:23,1989. At the time, because of other higher priority work-the NRC TER was deferred. The NRC has now written the enclosed Riverton TER..
