The purpose of this modification is to unilaterally exercise the first of four one-year cptions under the contract in accordance with Section F.4 of the contract and contractor's proposal dated February 19, 1987. The following changes are hereby incorporated:
- 1. The Government unilaterally exercises the first of four one-year options in accordance with Section F.4 of the contract, entitled " Option to Extend the Term Of the Contract-Services."
- 2. The contractor's cost proposal dated February 19, 1987 in the amount Of $130,000.00 is hereby incorporated.

- 3. Section F.3 is revised as follows:
"F.3 Duration of Contract Period The contract period of performance shall commence on September 30, 1986 and continue through September 29, 1988."
- 4. Section B.2 is revised as follows:
"B.2 The total amount obligated and allotted for performance of this contract is $279,974.00. The present amount obligated will cover performance through September 29, 1988."
- 5. Section G.4 is revised as follows:
"G.4 This modification changes the NRC Project Officer from Andrew Murphy to Ernst Zurflueh. Dr. Zurflueh can be reached on (301) 443-7783.
All other terms and conditions under this contract remain unchanged.
In summary, this modification:
- 1. Exercises the first of four one-year options,
- 2. Incorporates contractor's cost proposal in the amount of $130,000.00,
- 3. Extends the period of performance through September 29, 1988,
- 4. Increases the amount obligated by $130,000.00, and
- 5. Changes the NRC Project Officer.
