SHUTDOWN TO REPAIR STEAM LEAK On November 13,1998,,the licensee shut the unit down to repair a steam leak from.a reactor feedwater check valve. This valve is safety-related and would. provide a primary containment isolation function under accident
- conditions. The unit is expected to be shut down for 4 to 6 days.
The resident inspectors will monitor the licensee's repair activities. l The State of Michigan will be notified. The'information in this i preliminary notification has been reviewed with licensee management.
