Dear Dr. Cranwell:
SUBJ:CT: RESPONSE TO THE MAY, 1988 MONTHLY REPORT, FIN 1761 1 have reviewed your report for May 1988, and found the progress satisfactory.
In addition, the activities are in agreement with the information provided to me by y]ur staff.
In a telephone conversation with Jeff S. Philbin on May 24, 1988, I was advised that R. M. Ostmeyer has left Sandia. In response to our telephone conversation, J. Philbin provided me with a project status report and said he would need a time extension. He said that additional staff would be joining him on the project. He said he would provide us with a request for time extension in late June.
The action taken by this letter is considered withir. the scope of the contract. No change to cost or delivery of products is aut:1orized. Please 2 notify me immediately if you believe this letter would result in changes to costs or delivery of contract products.
