Mary, As discussed earlier today, please provide the following information so we can continue our evaluation:
- 1. Please commit to include in your instructions to users a caution that users should not enter vessels where source housings are mounted or enter the radiation beam in any other way.
- 2. The tse..ng information included in attachment 4 to the 7/29/98 letter indicates temperature testing to 50 degrees C. Do you have additional information to support use up to 100 degrees C7
- 3. For drawing 3100, please provide the diameter of the hole for the NW-301 series and the size of the rectangular hole for the NW-401 series.
- 4. Please provide a copy of drawing R-R-NW 2102 that was referenced on page 2 of your 8/21/98 letter.
- 5. Please commit to use a stainless steel tether to attach the labeling.
- 6. Please verify that the note in item 9 of your 8/21/98 letter should read " surface dose rate for source housing never exceed 0.5 mrem /hr."
- 7. Please commit to have the Shipping Procedures indicate "... a G-M tube with an )
approximate 1" diameter."
