Braidwood Nuclear Power Stations Units 1 and 2 graldwood Station Security PfAD NRC Docket Nos. 50-456 & 50 457 TAC Nos. 65275/6522A Enclosed is the original and three (3) copies of Revision 42 of the Braidwood Nuclear Power Station Security Plan.
This submittal reflects the changes in the number of required Armed Responders for Braidwood's Security Plan. The defensive strategy implemented at Braidwood hr.s proven to be adequate to defend against the NRC's Design Basis Threat as ovaluated and validated by NRR's Operational Safeguards Readinoss Evaluation (OSRE) Team. The reduction in the committed number of Arrred Responders does not reduco the overall effectiveness of the .Socurity Plan and therefore this submittal complies with the requirements of 10CFR 50.54 (p).
Pursuant to 10CFR 50.54(p), the signed original and three copies of the Security Plan revisions are being provided to your office. A copy of this letter and two copies of the Security Plan revisions are being sent to Region Ill.
These enclosures contain Safeguards Information which must be protected from public disclosure pursuant to 10CFR 73.21.
