Dear Mr. Arthur:
As you are aware, the DOE, State of Oregon and NRC held a series of telephone conferences in late August and early September to discuss the Lakeview project.
One of the items discussed and agreed on by all parties was a set of requirements which would govern rock durability quality. These requirements were written up by the State of Gn egon, and a signature ps J **as added to acknowltdge that all parties have a clear an1 basic understanti'ng of what is acceptable.
Enclosed you will find the summary of requirements as well as the accompanying signature page signed by the State of Oregon and the NRC. These documents are being forwarded t<. you for your acknowledgment.
