Contract No. NRC-02-85-OO8 Modification No. 9 Page 2 of 3 TheI purpose of this modification is to exercise the first ,of three one-year options under the contract and pending completion of negotiations, provido authorization and funding in the temporary ceiling amount of $40,000.00 for the first year option.
Upon completion of negotiations, the cost ceiling of the contract will be revised via a subsequent modification of the contract to reflect the final agreement of the parties on the total amount of cost and fee applicable for the work authorized by this action.
- In the interim, the Estimated Cost and Obligation amounts are increased below, to provide the temporary ceiling increase of
$40,000 for the first year option.

- 2. Pursuant to NRC telephonic authorization (E. Knox with Andrea Beckett), effective January 20, 1988, Subtask 1.4 (Option),

- 3. Under Section F - Dglivgtigg_and_Pgtigtmangg2 sub-section, F.2 - Ducation of Contract Period, is modified to extend the contract by one (1) additional year, as follows:
"F.2 This contract shall become effective on September 25, 1985 and shall continue through January 19, 1989 with two additional twelve month options to extend thereafter."
