Page 2 B. Paragraph F.3, Opt ion to Extend _the Period of Performance - is revised as follows:
This cont ract may be extended for one additional twelve month period at the option of the Government by the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Of ficer may give preliminary written notice of an intent to exercise such option ninety (90) days, or less, prior to the last day of the period of performance (such preliminary notice shall not be construed as an exercise of the option) and will not bind the

Government to exercise the option.
If the Government exercises such option, the total dt ration of this contract ,
including the exercise of this option, shall not exceed five years.
C. Paragraph G.I.A, Lstimated Cost and Consideration, is deleted in its entirety and the following paragraph is substituted in lieu thereof:

- 1. !c is estimated that the total cost to the Government for full performance of this contract will be $1,054,655. The actual cost and fee shall be negotiated on a case-by-case basis for each task order issued hereunder.

- 2. The total amount of funds currently obligated for payment under this cont ract is 5400,000.00. i D. Paragraph G.2, Overhead / General and Administt tt ive Rates, is changed to revisc subparagraph D as follows: s i
D. Pending the establishment of final overhead rates which shall be negotiated based on audit of actual costs, the Contractor shall be reimbursed for allowable indirect costs het-under at the provisional rate of 76.8% of direct labor costs !

In summary, this modification accomplishes the following actions: !
- 1. Provides one additional extension of the contract term through June 27, 1989 and includes an additional one year option period.

- 2. Revises the consideration clause of the contract to change the total estimated cost for full performance of the centract term fron $635,237 by $419.418 to $1,054,655.
- 3. Revises provisional rates accordinr,to tbs latest audit information available.
