Dear Ms. Conner:

This is in reply to your letter dated November 2,1978, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, copies of eight letters concerning employee overexposures and airborne releases and leabge. Your request was received by the Office of Administration on Novt .aer 8,1978.

In response to your request, the documents listed in Appendix A are being placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) located at 1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, DC.

We have been unable to locate the documents you identified in your request as letters dated May 12, 1969, December 29, 1969, March 30, 1970, and November 13, 1971.

The names of individuals exposed to radiation have been deleted from the documents listed in Appendix A. This information is being withheld from public disclosure Act (5 U.S.C. 552(pursuant to exemption (6) of the Freedom of Information b)(6)) and 10 CFR 9.5(a)(6) of the Commission's regulations because disclosure of the information would be a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.

Pursuant to 10 CFR 9.9 of the Commission's regulations, it has been determined that the information withheld is exempt from production or disclosure, public interest.
