Page 2 of.3-The purpose of this modification is to (1) raise the contract ceiling by
$20,000.00 from $305,891.97 to.$325,891.97, (2) revise Task 5 of C.1.3.5 to add an additional public meeting, (3) Extend the period of performance from 10/30/92 to 4/30/93 ar.d (4) revise the indirect rates. Accordingly, the contract is hereby modified as follows:
1.) Under section B.3 CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATION--COST PLUS FIXED FEE (JUNE 1988) Paragraph a. and cc are deleted in their entirety and replaced with the following in lieu thereof:
- a. The total estimated cost to the Government for full performance of this contract is $325,891.97, of which the sum of $292,641.41 represents the estimated reimbursable costs, of which $2,795.51 represents the facilities capital cost of money, and of which
$30,455.05 represents the fixed fee.
- c. The amount obligated by the Government with_ respect to this contract is $325,891.97.
2.) Paragraph C.I.3.5, Task 5 of Section C is dele'ted in its entirety and replaced with the following:
"C.1.3.5 Task 5 The contractor shall perform logistical planning for conducting a second public workshop in the Washington, DC area to discuss the candidate regulatory changes-and to obtain feedback from the industry and other interested parties. This is intended to be a two (2). day workshop. The logistical planning should include but not limited to:
(a) identifying and reserving meeting facilities and equipment; (b) preparing copies of agenda and other materials necessary for the meeting; (c) preparing summaries and a proceedings of the workshop; (d) providing technical support to the NRC staf f for the conduct of.the workshop; and (e) transcription of the workshop. Attendees _shall be responsible for their own expenses / room accommodations / food.
The public meeting shall be scheduled for January 1993."

"This. contract shall commence on 5/24/90 and will expire on 4/30/93."
4.) Section G.1 INDIRECT COST RATES is revised to read as follows:
