Enclosed is an application for an export license (XSNM02949), recently received by the Nuclear Regulatory Conunission, for the export of low-enriched uranium to Japan for use as reload fuel in Fukushima II, Unit 2. Assurances from the Government of Japan are required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation.
