l On September 5,1996, the NRC completed an onsite inspection at the former location of the j

international Ranwick Limited mining operations near Bluff, Utah. During the site visit, soil samples were collected for analysis by our Region lit office. The enclosed report presents the I results of that onsite inspection, and the results of the soil sample analyses, j The inspection disclosed that surface mining operations did in fact occur; however, no evidence of byproduct material, in the form of tailings, was identified at the site. Therefore, the NRC plans no further action on this site.
