The watches are manufactured to military specification MIL-W-46374F or current equivalent. Model No. 211 is a large metal cased, quartz movement analog watch with turning bezel. Model Nos. 348A, 350A, and 359 are " general purpose" plastic cased military analog watches. Model No. 350A incorporates a quartz movement while Model Nos. 348A and 359 are 17-jewel and 7-jewel mechanical movements respectively. Luminous marking on the watch faces and hands are provided by tritium vial light sources attached to groves in the face and hands by multi-purpose clear silicon glue.

The watches are marked to comply with both military specification and 10 CFR 32 requirements. The face contains the standard radiation symbol, the marking H3, and the word Marathon as the initial transferor while markings on the back of the case identify the manufacturer and military contract.
