| Event Description | The following was received by email from the state of Texas:
On June 9, 2020, the Agency [Texas Department of State Health Services] was contacted by the licensee and informed that the shutter on a Vega SH-F1 gauge was found stuck in the open position during a routine inspection. The gauge contains a 20 milliCurie cesium-137 source. The gauge does not pose an exposure risk to any individual. The licensee has contacted the manufacturer for assistance in repairing the gauge. Additional information will be provided as it is received in accordance with SA-300. Texas Incident #: 9773 |
