Dear Siror Madame:
On December 19,1996, Penn State notified the NRC that the responsibility for the Breazeale Nuclear Reactor's R-2 license formerly assumed by the Senior Vice President for Reseamh and Dean of the Graduate School was now assumed by Dr. Rodney A. Erickson, Acting Vice President for Research, effective January 1,1997. Effective April 1,1997, Dr. Erickson's responsibilities for the R-2 license we:e made permanent when he was appointed Vice President for Research and Dean of the Graduate School.
'Ihis letter fulfills the Technical Specifications mquirement (Section 6.6.2.b) that a written mport shall be made within 30 days to the USNRC for a permanent change in the facility organization involving level 1 and 2 personnel as defined in the reactor facility's Technical Specifications.
A copy of the proposed Technical Specification change to reflect Dr. Erickson's title is enclosed.
This organization chart incorporates other changes that were submitted as pending Amendment No.
32 on February 6,1997.
