Dear Mr. Steptoe and Mr. Paton:

I wish to make the following corrections in the Instructions for the Interrogatories and Requests for Production filed on l October 11 14 R'4 The third paragraph in the Interrogatories submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Staff should read: -

Tb ~ i m - gatories are deemed to be continuing and any additional information relating in any way to these interro-gato2.ies which the Nuclear Regulatory Commission acquires s ubo coc. u Lv the date of answering them, and up to and including the time of hearing, should be furnished to inter-venor promptly after such information is acquired.

On page three of the interrogatories submitted to the NRC Staff, Instruction E should read:

If the NRC Staff contends that the answer to any interrogatory is privileged, in whole or in part, ....

In the interrogatories submitted to Consumers Power Company, Instruction A should read:

A. All information is to be divulged which is in your possession or under your control, or is in the possession or under the control of your present or former executives, directors, officers, etaployees , staff, trus tees , managers, attorneys, consultants, accountants, or their agents, representatives or attorneys.
