amendment application to revise Technical Specification (T/S) Surveillance Requirement 4.8.1.1.2f.7 to remove ,

a separate T/S.
The purpose of this transmittal is to submit a revision to the proposed change based upon conversations between Union Electric and the NRC Staff. '
The areas of change consist of the following: Deleting the use of Specification 4.8.1.1.2f.6)b) for the hot restart test signal,. because this specification allows only the use of a simulated loss-of-offsite power in conjunction with a Safety Injection test signal to be used to auto-start the diesel generator. Also we have i deleted the requirement to monitor operating ,
temperature for stability and will rely solely on the 2 )
hour minimum operating time as specified in NUREG-1431 prior to performing the hot restart test.
I See the attached sheets for the revised marked up page and retyped page. The conclusions in the Safety Evaluation of the original submittal are also applicable to this change.
