REPORT ON TRIP TO WATTS BAR DATE OF VISIT: March 27, 2002 PURPOSE OF VISIT: Meet with the SRI and plant management, and participate in Annual Assessment Meeting INSPECTOR OBSERVED: Jonathan Bartley SENIOR LICENSEE PERSON CONTACTED: W. R. Lagergren, Site Vice President OBSERVATIONS NOTED WITH PLANT:
Due to security changes at the site, the Watts Bar Annual Assessment Meeting was conducted at the Sweetwater, TN Best Western. The meeting was conducted as planned, with the Branch Chief providing the ROP overview and the SRI discussing plant specific performance. Other than TVA personnel, there were four local emergency preparedness officials and one local resident present. Several questions were asked after the meeting by the local resident. There were no media personnel in attendance. The meeting appeared to be well-received by those in attendance.
