In the Matter of ) Docket Nos. 50-259 Tennessee Valley Authority 50-260 50-296 BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) - UNITS 1, 2, AND 3 - RESPONSE TO DRAFT NUREG REGARDING POTENTIAL RISK AND CONSEQUENCES OF HEAVY LOAD DROPS IN NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS As requested by the NRC staff's letter dated April 1, 2002, TVA has reviewed the draft NUREG regarding "Technical Assessment, Generic Issue 186: Potential Risk and Consequences of Heavy Load Drops in Nuclear Power Plants." TVA has reviewed the data and information presented in the draft NUREG for BFN and found it to be consistent with that provided during and subsequent to the staff visit on September 14-15, 2000.
