Point Beach Verbal Relief Authorization David, I just participated (10:00 am) in a phone call between the licensee and NRR staff. The NRR staff granted the licensee verbal authorization for the two relief requests which they submitted associated with the Unit 1 head nozzle 26 repair. The NRR staff also stated that this verbal approval was not associated with the licensee's Order relaxation requests for the Ul head examination. NRR staff stated that any decision on their Order relaxation request would be communicated to the licensee in a written format.
