210 Broadway Woodcliff Lake, NJ, 07677 Email: SJGUU@aol.com General Comment I would like to request a hearing on the Indian Point license transfer in the local community. I live in Woodcliff Lake, some 30 or 40 miles from the plant, and am very concerned about Holtecs financial status, the number of LLCs that could fold leaving us with no money to finish the job until such time as the decommissioning fund replenishesand with their plans to ask for exemptions to divert some of that money, without the assurance that any reimbursement from the Department of Energy will go back to the fund, and not into their pockets, I am nervous. Compounding my concern is the fact that they lied on their application to New Jerseys EDA in order to secure a giant tax credit. Similarly underhanded was their submission of a PSDAR before they were approved to get the licensewere they trying to bypass even limited NRC review?

(Thank you for rejecting that!)

Further, if they choose to send irradiated fuel by barge either up or down the Hudson River, they will likely need to build a new dock, which could have environmental/water implications, as well as creating the potential of a lot of new river traffic.

All in all, we need to hear this throughly analyzed and debated, and a local hearing would be a good start.
