DESCRIPTION OF REQUESTED RECORDS:

Copies of public records related to dams regulated by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission dams including but not limited to all the data you submitted to the Army Corps of Engineers' National Inventory of Dams (NID) for high hazard and significant hazard dams.

PART I. -- INFORMATION RELEASED The NRC has made some, or all, of the requested records publicly available through one or more of the following means:

NRO staff have informed us that the data that the NRG submits to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (US ACE), which is included in the NID, pertains to the dams that are part of the NRC's. Dam Safety Program. None of the current eight dams under the program are classified as high hazard or significant hazard dams.

If you are interested in obtaining information beyond what is available in the Public NID for high- and significant- hazard dams, you may wish to submit a FOIA request to the US ACE. Please refer to the US ACE's FOIA web page for assistance in making a FOIA request: https://www.usace.army.mil/FOIA.aspx.
