REP. NITA LOWEY, NRC CHAIRMAN ALLISON MACFARLANE TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE FOLLOWING TOUR OF INDIAN POINT ENERGY CENTER On Monday, February 11th, Congresswoman Nita Lowey (NY-17) and NRC Chairman Allison Macfarlane will make brief statements and take questions from the media following a closed-press tour and briefings at Indian Point Energy Center by NRC resident inspectors and Entergy executives.

When: Monday, Feb. 11, 12:45-1:15 p.m.
How to get there: The street address is 450 Broadway St., Buchanan, N.Y., although that street address will not quite get you to the entrance via GPS or Mapquest. Directions: New York Route 9 North, take the Welcher Ave northbound exit, and at the end of the ramp turn left onto Welcher Ave. At the first light, make a left onto NY Route 9A. At the next light make a right onto Bleakley Ave. At the next light make a left onto Broadway. Go about 0.4 mile and the main gate is on the right.
Parking: After entering the property, proceed straight ahead to parking lot to the right of the building on left, or follow instructions from Entergy personnel.
Schedules for both Rep. Lowey and Chairman Macfarlane are very tight. The availability will end promptly and there will not be time for any one-on-one interviews.
