Docket No. 50-483-LR, Notification of Potentially New, Relevant, and Material Information

Dear Parties:

In conformance with the Commissions policy on notification of all parties of potentially new, relevant, and material information, counsel for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff (Staff) hereby informs the parties that yesterday, February 3, 2015, the Staff asked the Commission to authorize the Director of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation to issue a renewed operating license for Callaway Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 1 (Callaway). The renewed license would authorize Callaway to operate for an additional 20 years beyond the expiration of its current license, or until October 18, 2044. In support of its request, the Staff provided the Commission with the results of its review of the Callaway license renewal application, submitted by Union Electric Company (doing business as Ameren Missouri), owner and operator of Callaway. This request is now pending before the Commission and can be obtained through the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System via Accession No. ML14321A700.

Respectfully submitted,

/Signed (electronically) by/
