Dear Mr. Denton:
The Attachments to this letter contain a revised Inservice Test (IST) program for safety-related pumps at the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant Unit Nos. 1 and 2. Since the IST program requirements for pumps are the same for both Units, and the programs differ only in their effective starting dates, a combined program has been developed.
It is our intention to submit an IST - related Technical Specification change request packet under separate cover to reflect the changes contained in this submittal and to enhance the uniformity of the, Technical Specifications for Unit Nos. 1 and 2.
This document has been prepared following Corporate Procedures which incorporate a reasonable set of controls to ensure its accuracy and completeness prior to signature by the undersigned.
