VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY SURRY POWER STATION UNITS I AND 2 NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNITS I AND 2 RESPONSE TO NRC BULLETIN NO. 87-02, SUPPLEMENT I AND 2 Supplement 1 to NRC Compliance Bulletin 87-02 directed that additional information on the source of fasteners purchased by utilities over the past ten years be provided to the NRC. This request was clarified by Supplement 2 to NRC Compliance.Bulletin 87-02 which directed that the requested information be restricted to "a list of suppliers and manufacturers from which safety-related ferrous fasteners one quarter inch in diameter or greater may have been purchased, within the past ten years, including addresses." For non-safety related fasteners, the time span was limited to five years.

Attachments 1 and 2 provide listings of vendors from which Virginia Electric and Power Company may have purchased safety and non-safety related fasteners for station maintenance stores and for construction activities.

The information provided in this response is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. If additional information is required, please let us know.
