LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Headquarters One White Flint North 11545 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD 20852-2738 PURPOSE: The purpose of this predecisional enforcement conference is to discuss an apparent violation involving the importation of byproduct material (strontium-89) into the United States without an NRC or Agreement State license for possession of the material. The specific issues are discussed in the letter dated September 7, 2018, entitled U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Information Review, Source Production & Equipment Company, Inc. Related to the Import of Byproduct Material [Agencywide Documents Access and Management Systems (ADAMS) Accession No. ML18248A184]. The conference will provide an opportunity for the entity to provide its perspective on the facts and findings, and any other information that it believes the NRC should take into consideration in making an enforcement decision.
