Dear Mr. Oplinger:

General Electric has received the subject license authorizing export of equipment for the Leibstadt reactor in Switzerland.

General Electric hereby requests amendment of the license to include an additional intermediate consignee as follows:

Byron Jackson Nuclear Products 4870 AA Etten-Leur The Netherlands Please note the license currently authorizes another intermediate consignee - Rotterdam Nuclear - in the Netherlands.

The first shipment to this intermediate consignee is scheduled for February 1, 1979.

3 RECEIVED Presently,onlyoneshipmentisschedulebfhexporttothisintermediate consignee. The shipment will consist of 2 hydrostatic bearings which must be installed in a' coolant pumpfqc,4 th e Leipq1:aAq reactor. It is our understanding that the value 6T tNese Meahnds 'fs less than $100,000.
