Dear Mr. Kintner:

Detroit Edison will provide a supplemental respcnse to item 110.17 in the next FSAR amendment as you requested. The supplemental response will be as follows:

"If a crack is detected in a jet purrp hold-down beam, that beam will be replaced by one of a suitable material and design before returning to power operation."
