Dear Sir or Madam:

According to an Associated Press dispatch of August 13, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission has announced a temporary cessation of con-struction permits, limited work authorizations and full-power plant operating licenses for nuclear power plants pending the court ordered reassessment of the environmental impact of nuclear fuel reprocessing and waste management. We would appreciate receiving a copy of any materials which would explain the ef fects of this temporary cessation.

Finally, we would appreciate knowing what impact, i f any , this order will have on the construction of the Consumers Power plant at Midland, Michigan.
