Purpose:
This meeting is being held at the request of the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) to conduct an open workshop on the implementation issues associated with the revised 10 CFR 72.48, Changes, Tests, and Experiments. The revised rule becomes effective April 5, 2001. The workshop includes presentations by the NRC, NEI and industry representatives to provide an overview of implementation issues and examples associated with the revised requirements. See attached workshop agenda.
