Dear Mr. Dinitz:
This letter will confirm my telephone conversation to you today regarding the application of Arkansas Power &
Light Company in Docket No. 50-313. In lieu of the last sentence in Article XI on indemnity, the Company intends to furnish to you a liability insurance policy to be written by NEPIA providing $1,000,000 of protection as provided for in 10 CFR $140.13. This insurance policy has been ordered by the Company and will be delivered to the Company as soon as it can be prepared. It will become effective at the time'the nuclear fuel is delivered to the plant at Russell-ville. A copy of the policy will be delivered to the Atomic Energy Commission prior to that time.
