G UBMITIED 1TH RESPECT TO THE LICENSE AMENDMENT APPLICATION OF EXELON GENERATION COMPANY, LLC FOR THREE MILE ISLAND, UNITS 1 AND 2 (DOCKET NOS. 50-289 and 50-320)

The Office of the Secretary received a request for hearing in response to the license amendment application of Exelon Generation Company, LLC for Three Mile Island, Units 1 and 2, (Docket Nos. 50-289 and 50-320), which was published in the Federal Register at 84 Fed.

Reg. 47542 (September 10, 2019). The request was timely filed via E-filing on November 12, 2019, by Eric Epstein on behalf of Three Mile Island Alert, Inc.

The first eight pages of the hearing request's Introduction section contain objections to a no significant hazards consideration determination by the NRC staff. As stated at 10 C.F.R. § 50.58(b)(6), no petition or other request for review of or hearing on the staff's no significant hazards consideration determination will be entertained by the Commission. Accordingly, this referral memorandum is not to be construed as reflecting a determination that Mr. Epstein is entitled to a review of, or hearing on, the staff's no significant hazards consideration determination.

The request and its supporting documents are located in ADAMS under package accession number ML19329D040 and are also available on the Electronic Hearing Docket.

The request for hearing is being referred to you for appropriate action in accordance with 10 C.F.R. § 2.346(i). This referral memorandum is being served on the E-Filing service list for the Three Mile Island proceeding, Docket Nos. 50-289 and 50-320-LA.
