EA-05-007, "Order Imposing Additional Security Measures (Effective Immediately)", dated July 19,2005 The Pennsylvania State University (PSU) received a letter containing the subject order on July 21, 2005.
This order does not apply to PSU since the Penn State Breazeale Reactor (PSBR) does not nor do they plan to ship radioactive material quantities of concern (RAMQC). If conditions change and require the PSBR to ship RAMQC, the NRC will be informed ninety (90) days in advance of our first RAMQC shipment as called for in your transmittal letite6r.:'- . .
Therefore PSU elects noti to implement the additional security measures (ASMs) as listed in Attachment B to the subject order because they are not applicable to the PSBR activities and thus are unnecessary for our specific circumstances.
