Importation of Nuclear Wastes is Undesirable I am non-plussed by the request of Energy Solutions which would allow them to import nuclear wastes!!
from outside the U.S. We produce enough of our own without adding someone else's. We don't even know what we are going to do with the wastes we have.
This technology is unhealthy and unsafe for human beings! It is why I oppose the continued promotion of this energy source for the U.S. -- It is why, in Oregon, the Trojan Nuclear Power Plant was decommissioned.
We must be smarter than to despoil our "nest" (our human home) with this untenable residue.
Please oppose this request.
