Ohio Cuyahoga County Developer: Juwi International Location: Lake Erie Status: Issued an RFQ for development of a 20 MW offshore wind demo project in Lake Erie near downtown Cleveland + feasibility study of establishing an R&D center for utility scale wind technology. As recommended in Feb 8, 2007 report Building a New Energy Future. Juwi International conducting project feasibility study for offshore wind test project. $1,041,454 contract approved with JW Great Lakes Wind llc. Study to be completed in 2009.
