NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 05000271/2016401, ENTERGY NUCLEAR OPERATIONS, INC., VERMONT YANKEE PLANT VERNON, VERMONT
Dear Mr. Wamser:
This letter refers to the Decommissioning Nuclear Power Reactor Security Inspection conducted March 14 - 31, 2016, at Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant (VY). The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to security and compliance with the Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRC) rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. The inspectors reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel. The NRC inspectors discussed the results of this inspection with Mr. Patrick Ryan, Security Manager, and other members of your staff.
Based on the results of the inspection, no findings of significance were identified.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS).
ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
