CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATION:

(a) Authorized Ceiling Amount: 1,021,801.00 (b) The amount presently obligated with respect to this DOE Task Order is $350,000.00. When and if the amount(s) presently paid and payable to the DOE laboratory hereunder equals the amount obligated, the DOE laboratory shall not be obligated to continue performance of the work unless and until the NRC Contracting Officer increases the amount obligated with respect to this DOE Task Order. Any work undertaken by the DOE laboratory in excess of the obligated amount specified above is done so at the DOE laboratory's sole risk.

NOTE: This task order SOW consists of "Optional Tasks" which will not be performed by the laboratory unless prior written notice is provided by the COR or ALT COR. The following Tasks and Sub-tasks are "Optional Tasks:"

Notwithstanding the effective dates and period of performance start dates stated elsewhere in the agreement, the effective date of the agreement and the start date of the period of performance shall be the last date of signature by the parties.
