In your petition, you requested that the NRC require all nuclear power plant licensees to use in-core monitoring devices at different elevations and radial positions throughout the reactor core. The NRC docketed your letter as petition for rulemaking PRM-50-111, and the NRC published a notice of receipt in the Federal Register on July 16, 2015 (80 FR 42067). The NRC continues to address the resolution of the issues raised by PRM-50-111. The status of PRM-50-111 can be found at the NRC Rules and Petition page at https://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-collections/rulemaking-ruleforum/active/PetitionIndex.html.
