Salem Generating Station Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-272 and 50-311 License Amendment Request S09-01 Request for Change to Technical Specifications Definition of Fully Withdrawn Rod Cluster Control Assemblies PSEG Nuclear LLC submitted the proposed changeto the Salem Technical Specifications by letter to the NRC dated March 22, 2009. The proposed amendment would rev'ise the definition of the fully withdrawn position of the Rod Cluster Control Assemblies (RCCA) to minimize local RCCA wear.This change would revise the definition of fully withdrawn from between 222 and 228 steps above rod bottom to between 222 and 230 steps above rod bottom.The BNE has no comments on the proposed change.
